FAQ

Common questions

What areas do you serve?

We currently serve Greater Houston across Harris, Fort Bend and Montgomery counties, including Sugar Land, Katy, Richmond, The Woodlands and Conroe. If your party is outside that area, call the field desk at (346) 397-5252 and we'll tell you whether we can help.

Do you serve on Sundays?

Texas Rule of Civil Procedure 6 does not allow civil process to be served on a Sunday, except in injunction, attachment, garnishment, sequestration and distress cases. Orders received on a Sunday are worked on Monday unless your papers fall under one of those exceptions.

What should I upload?

One PDF containing the citation, petition, and any exhibits or civil process packet that must be delivered. If you have several files, combine them into a single PDF first.

When do I pay?

Right after you submit. You'll get your job number on screen and by email, along with a secure Stripe payment link. Approved firms on Net-30 terms are invoiced monthly instead.

How do I get a monthly Net-30 account?

Call the field desk or email us to request approval. Once approved, choose "Monthly invoice (Net-30)" when submitting.

How will I know when service is complete?

We email updates on attempts to the address you provide, then send the return of service once the party is served.

Can you e-file the return of service?

Yes. It's free. Leave the e-filing box checked when you submit, and once the party is served we file the signed return in your case through eFileTexas and email you the file-stamped copy. Court filing fees, if any, are separate.

Why do you verify the address?

We check every service address against the U.S. Census Bureau's address database and confirm it's in our service area. That prevents wasted trips and delays on your deadline. Brand-new homes are sometimes missing from the database; you can still submit, and our desk will confirm them.
